As you may have noticed, I have added the Family~Album tab to the menu.  The page will eventually be where you will be able to find pictures of us.  At the moment I have placed a test player for our short movies.  I decided to use YouTube at the moment for our videos.  I created a YouTube account, uploaded movies, and placed a YouTube Player on our website.  I like the way it handles videos.  It converted all of our .MOV files to flash so that most any browser can view them.

I had my worries about placing family video's on the web at YouTube, but after thinking about it for a while I came to the conclusion that since I don't post our address, and I am not typing in keywords; first not many people will even find our video's amoungst the million some other videos, and second, if they do find them, they won't care, or be able to figure out who we are or where we live.

With today's internet, honestly if someone wanted to find you, and or bug you, they could.  Having come to this reality a long time ago, I have decided to place some of our family videos in a public place so that I can have the functionality and ease of presenting those video's on our website.

Please feel free to look at the Family~Album page and view our short videos.  I am going to be making a page just for videos, but I haven't gotten there yet.

I hope you all enjoy!

Yesterday was a hectic day.  As you all know, Elisha's birthday was the 7th of February.  We decided to celebrate her birthday yesterday because the family for the most part was sick last week.  Elisha wanted to have a sleep over and invited two of her friends.  So on the way home from work, I stopped by Costco to pick up a cake and Papa Johns to pick up pizza.  I also was having the Missions Secretary over to help create the Missionaries Page for our churches website.  All in all it was going to make for a hectic afternoon.

Papa John's pizza was awesome as always, and the "Missionaries Page" is off to a good start.  It isn't finished, but will be in a week.  The Missions Secretary's next job is to round up pictures of our missionaries.  Our churches website isn't a big site, but I feel blessed to have had the chance to design it and help build it for our church.

Elisha had a blast, and enjoyed her first sleep over.  The two girls who came over were very well behaved and it wasn't a lot of work for Jessie.  Elisha is looking over my shoulder and she says the funnest part of last night was opening presents.  I am glad she had a good time.

I guess I don't have much more to say.  Oh except Elizabeth has a new word.  (ewwwww)  I put a lot of w's on the word because that is how she says it.  I will have to record her and put a video up on the website.  The funny thing is she even knows when to say it.  She is a cutie!

I am sure everyone is aware of yesterday's Super Tuesday Primary Elections.  I don't know about you, but I was glued to the radio listening to the results last night.  It made falling asleep impossible.

Okay to be fair it wasn't only the radio.  I came down with a cold a couple days ago, and Jessie insisted on putting vapor rub on my chest, feet and back last night for bed.  Do you know how hard it is to sleep with sticky vapor rub on your back and chest.  The T-Shirt I was wearing irritated the heck out of me.  Having something stuck to me drives me insane.  Well needless to say I did NOT get good sleep last night.  Now to be fair to Jessie, I am very happy she loves me enough to take care of me when I am sick.

Okay now back to Super Tuesday.  I am sort of bummed that McCain won so many states and delegates.  McCain in my oppinion has been too liberal in the past and is only changing his views to be elected.  I worry about 4 years of him as President.  I feel very similar about Romney.  There are a few things I don't like about Huckabee, like his tax plan, but I think I would rather see him in the White House than any other candidate.

Now having said the above, I still would vote for any of the Republican candidates over Clinton or Obama.  Dr. Dobson had been reported to have said he would not vote for McCain if he was to win the parties nomination.  I love Dr. Dobson, and think he has done some great things, but I think he is foolish to not vote at all.  The one thing that I know about all three of the Republican candidates is they are pro-life.  I think if Dr. Dobson doesn't vote, along with many of his supporters, it could be allowing a Democrat of whom we KNOW is pro-choice to become President.  I beleive the sanctity of life is more important than many of the other issues.

I guess that is it.  I usually don't like to talk about politics, but this race has me a little concerned.  If you want to comment on any of what I have said feel free to comment below.  If you are not a registered user here at SilvaMoose, I will have to approve any comments.  This is just so people we don't know can't just post comments.

Talk to you all soon,

Well Praise God!  I was having issues uploading pictures into the blog.  I was kind of worried and I prayed that it wouldn't be a big issue.  After that I just restarted the server and it seemed to fix the issue.  Before I prayed I was looking at the logs of DotNetNuke and didn't understand what the errors were telling me.  I am glad God knows what the errors are.

Now I can upload pictures again into the blogs.  WooHoo !  This is especially good because I told Jessie she could and even should her how.

I guess that is about it.  I don't have anything else to say.  I will talk to you all soon.

Today has been pretty uneventful.  I did spend about 30 minutes on the below pictures so that I could post them on the website.  I hope you guys and gals enjoy them.

Elisha and I went to the story (Albertsons) tonight so that she could buy Gabriel a late birthday present.  She wanted to go out on Tuesday night but she was sick, and then we had church last night.  She ended up buying him a little plastic plan that shoots 20 feet.  Gabe is excited, and Elisha is happy she got him something.  On a side note, Gabe is also very excited about Saturday.  In the Silva house when you are ten years old you are allowed to have one cup of coffee with dad on Saturday mornings.  This saturday will be his first Saturday cup of coffee with dad.  I think I am as excited as he is.  We got him a wolf coffee cup for his birthday because of the event.

Well that is about it.  I hope you enjoyed the pictures.
