I am sure everyone is aware of yesterday's Super Tuesday Primary Elections.  I don't know about you, but I was glued to the radio listening to the results last night.  It made falling asleep impossible.

Okay to be fair it wasn't only the radio.  I came down with a cold a couple days ago, and Jessie insisted on putting vapor rub on my chest, feet and back last night for bed.  Do you know how hard it is to sleep with sticky vapor rub on your back and chest.  The T-Shirt I was wearing irritated the heck out of me.  Having something stuck to me drives me insane.  Well needless to say I did NOT get good sleep last night.  Now to be fair to Jessie, I am very happy she loves me enough to take care of me when I am sick.

Okay now back to Super Tuesday.  I am sort of bummed that McCain won so many states and delegates.  McCain in my oppinion has been too liberal in the past and is only changing his views to be elected.  I worry about 4 years of him as President.  I feel very similar about Romney.  There are a few things I don't like about Huckabee, like his tax plan, but I think I would rather see him in the White House than any other candidate.

Now having said the above, I still would vote for any of the Republican candidates over Clinton or Obama.  Dr. Dobson had been reported to have said he would not vote for McCain if he was to win the parties nomination.  I love Dr. Dobson, and think he has done some great things, but I think he is foolish to not vote at all.  The one thing that I know about all three of the Republican candidates is they are pro-life.  I think if Dr. Dobson doesn't vote, along with many of his supporters, it could be allowing a Democrat of whom we KNOW is pro-choice to become President.  I beleive the sanctity of life is more important than many of the other issues.

I guess that is it.  I usually don't like to talk about politics, but this race has me a little concerned.  If you want to comment on any of what I have said feel free to comment below.  If you are not a registered user here at SilvaMoose, I will have to approve any comments.  This is just so people we don't know can't just post comments.

Re: Super Tuesday Away!

Yep, I agree that we have to vote. Even though McCain is liberal (some say moderate), at least as a Republican he should be somewhat more susceptible to pressures from his own party, whereas Clinton/Obomma - well, we know which way they are headed, with the blessings of their party!!! Either way, we are probably getting what we deserve!

Also, in that vein, look at the issues that we as americans are concerned with - THE WAR, THE Economy, IMmigration, Terrorism, etc.. Why are we so blind??? IT'S THE MORALITY, STUPID!!!
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
Proverbs 14:34

And we have the unmitigated GALL to invoke "God bless America."

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14

Very nicely said Dan. I love that scripture. The kids were learning that in Victory Bible Club last month as they were learning about honoring God.
